Day of Installation

Today we got up early and went to Cracker Barrel to eat some breakfast. After that we went to different stores and bought some things. The most notable are the the washing machine and dryer. They are front load and something my Mom has wanted for years. Woo hoo…
Mom really wants me to go home today so I suppose I will. I’d like to stay here and make Lipscomb earn the money that’s paid for me to stay in the dorm, but I guess that’s not going to happen. Off to the house I guess…I hope there are snacks waiting for me.

No, I didn’t get to use it because of the pesky curfew, but I did go eat with Matthew at Chili’s. Life at Vanderbilt appears to be much different than life at Lipscomb. It can be summed up as this: there is even more freedom, but the price tag is higher. I think I like Lipscomb better, however. Hint: never go to Chili’s when they are about to close…the food won’t be at its best.
Rain seems to be today’s main theme. That and exams. Today was jam-packed with an Algebra exam at 8am and Story of Jesus at 3pm. I think I did well on both. I suppose we’ll see when the grades are posted on blackboard. I have one final exam due tomorrow. I may take care of the work required for it some time tonight just so I don’t have to think about it.
As for the other things, I have been working on the AudioProbe.net theme in my spare time. I finally got something usable but nowhere close to production quality. However, I accidentally wrote over the files today so now I’m back to nothing. I’m hoping that one of my backups have the updated files, but the search has revealed nothing thus far. Really there’s no point anyway since I don’t have the money for this (bandwidth and licensing is expensive and it would take a while for this to start to make money) nor the time. I’m still a bit disappointed with this reseller hosting…it has so much potential but it seems that there’s only one person running the place. I could offer to help, but last time I did with something similar I got burned.
