RCT sites dying?
Lately, there has been a disturbing trend in the RollerCoaster Tycoon community. Sites have been disappearing--some without warning and some with a troubling message left behind. More of the sites are simply fading away due to lack of activity and interest, and this fate also seems to be imminent for us without a new release of RCT. I fret at having to even think about the possibility of this site going away, but I know it isn't sticking around forever. As far as I can tell, there's nothing I can do to prevent this from happening. The statistics are already reflecting the lack of interest I'm talking about and it's not looking too good. Soon enough, this site will end up like the rest--abandoned and forgotten.
No updates since 2008. Would have to completely rebuild to do anything useful with it. I've thought about doing it, but haven't been able to come up with a clear goal or purpose.
